Marsha Norris Knudsen is a “Keeper of Memories.” She is also an educator, historian, public speaker and author. Now that the writing of Sailor’s Mail S.W.A.K. is finished Marsha will give speaking presentations to share her parents’ WWII journey and to teach others how to get information about veterans and preserve their own memories.
Marsha holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Speech and Dramatic Art from the University of Missouri. During her career she taught English, creative writing, public speaking, and acting. For twenty-five years she and her husband worked together in their portrait studio business.
Her passion for history has inspired her to create and present numerous programs for schools, civic organizations, and conferences. Dressed in historical costume she has brought history to life in presentations about women of the past including “Susan B. Anthony–The Woman Who Dared.”
She welcomes speaking engagements and hopes to encourage others preserve their own family histories, thus creating a legacy for future generations.
